 Herbal composition: Huang Lian, Dang Gui, Lu Cha, Carum Carvi, Melissa Officinalis, Bo He, Bai Qu Cai, Zhi Gan Cao, Lou Lu.

This formula consists of 9 herbs:

  • Huang Lian: Clears heat and expels vapor from the Middle Warmer, disperses fire, and eliminates toxins. Stops bleeding caused by heat.
  • Dang Gui: tonifies Spleen Qi and Spleen Yang, removes Damp and food retentions, dissolves Damp Cold from the Large Intestine, dispels Wind Damp Cold (Bi syndromes), dispels external Wind Cold and releases Qi stagnation in the Middle Warmer.
  • Lu Cha: regulates Liver Qi, calms Liver Yang Rising, dispels Wind-Cold-Heat at Tai Yang/Yang Ming/Shao Yang level, clears Damp Heat and toxic Heat, removes parasites.
  • Carum Carvi: moves Qi and Blood, removes food stagnation, is warming and appetite-stimulating, calming for cramps and colic.
  • Melissa Officinalis: soothes Liver Yang, clears Stomach Fire, resolves Liver Qi stagnation, regulates and moves Qi.
  • Bo He: calms rebellious Stomach Qi, tempers rising Liver Yang, strengthens the Spleen and eliminates Dampness, moves Liver Qi, clears Dampness Heat from the Liver Dampness Heat from the Liver and Lung, expels parasites.
  • Bai Qu Cai: Removes Liver Qi stagnation, expels Damp Heat from the Liver and Gall Bladder, strengthens the Spleen, expels Wind Cold/Heat, expels Dampness and tonifies the Gall Bladder.
  • Zhi Gan Cao: tonifies Qi and Yin, clears Heat and tempers Fire, eliminates Wind-Heat, tonifies the Middle Warmer, harmonizes and binds the herbs in the formula.
  • Lou Lu: Expels Damp Heat from the Liver, tonifies Liver Blood, expels Phlegm Heat (Tan) and Toxic Heat.

Dosage and use:

For horses: 20 drops twice a day
For dogs up to 20 kilos: 3 drops twice a day
For dogs over 20 kilos: 5 drops twice a day
For puppies and foals by arrangement.
