This formula consists of 15 herbs:

  • Du Huo Expels Wind-Cold-Damp from the Lower Warmer, legs and tendons, vitalizes the meridians.
  • Xi Xin Relieves external Wind-Cold, dispels internal Cold, warms the Lungs, transforms Phlegm and dispels Wind-Damp from the sinews and bones.
  • Fang Feng dispels Wind-Cold and Dampness and relieves pain.
  • Qin Jiao Expels wind-damp and relaxes the tendons.
  • San Ji Sheng (or Xu Duan) Expels Wind-Damp, strengthens the tendons and bones, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and nourishes the Blood.
  • Du Zhong tonifies the Kidneys and Liver and strengthens the tendons and bones.
  • Niu Xi strengthens the blood, strengthens the tendons and bones, is beneficial for the joints and nourishes the liver and kidney Yin.
  • Rou gui warms the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, strengthens Ming Men Fire, dispels deep Cold, warms and unblocks the circulation meridians in the lower back.
  • Dang Gui tonifies, strengthens and harmonizes Blood, dispels Cold.
  • Chuan Xiong activates Blood, regulates Qi, dispels Wind-Cold.
  • Sheng di Huang (or Shu di Huang) nourishes Yin and Blood and generates Fluids.
  • Bai Shao nourishes Blood.
  • Dang Shen (or Ren Shen) tonifies Qi, calms the Shen and generates Fluids.
  • Fu Ling promotes urination, resolves Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and harmonizes the Middle Warmth.
  • Zhi Gan Cao tonifies Middle Qi and softens and harmonizes the properties of the previous herbs.

  • For horses: 20 drops twice a day
  • For dogs up to 20 kilos: 3 drops twice a day
  • For dogs over 20 kilos: 5 drops twice a day
  • For puppies and foals by arrangement.
